Togekiss POV

Crobat is taking the lead to the entrance. We go as fast as we can.
But still, I heard that their voices are closing in.
“We gotta move faster!”
We boosted up our speed, trying to reach the entrance faster.
I detected something…
I turned back and used Protect, blocked down an attack in a blink.
Crobat heard the blast and went hiding behind the wall.
“Well, well, well, good reflex, you’re really a tough target.”
He’s just behind us… The Bat Clan Leader.
“I went easy on you last time…” His wings glow with purple lights, “But it won’t happen this time!”
Clefable dashed to my front in time and used Quick Guard to block down his Cross Poison.
“…You’re Fairy Clan Leader, I bet? Ha.” He laughed.
We grinned our teeth, braced in nervous, but he’s just flying there, not doing anything.
It’s too late until we realized… Four Golbats are on our backward now… We’re surrounded!
“No matter how tough you are, I don’t believe that you can withstand five attacks at once, do it!”
Four Poison Fangs and a Cross Poison dashing toward us.
But suddenly, four Shadow Balls flew through above of us.
The Leader Crobat dashed back in time and avoided the attack, but other Golbats has no fortunate to dodge them.
After the smokes faded, I saw a tiny purple wing is blocking in front of us.
“…Crobat?! Why you’re here?!” The Bat Clan Leader shouted in shock.
The worst-case happened…
Crobat gulped, “Brother…”
“Why you’re there? Come here!”
“Brother, listen to me…!”
“No excuses!! COME, HERE!!”
I shake him and whispered, “C-crobat… Just go there…”
He’s afraid, although he tremors a bit, he didn’t move away.
“Brother! Please! Just… Don’t hurt Togekiss, please!”
Crobat blocked the Cross Poison down with his wings.
“Crobat!”
“I can’t believe that one day you’ll stand against me!” He said, all his words are filled with furies, “Scram!”
“B-Brother…! I…I know! That’s… That’s all my fault… But not Togekiss’s! You… You can punish me… But please just let Togekiss go…!”
“NO, WAY!”
He knocked him down to the floor.
“Crobat!”
The Bat Clan Leader dashed towards me.
Crobat suddenly bumped up, and gave him a headbutt, knocked him went flying, he crashed on the ceiling but get back balance again.
“…You insist?!”
“…You know what, brother?”
He’s stunned by Crobat’s sudden changes as he speaks.
“I was respecting you, thinking that you’re still a good bat… Until just now, I learned that you’re attacking Fairy Clan, aiming to hunt Togekiss down…”
He’s looking to the floor.
“But I still believe that it’s maybe just some misunderstanding caused it, I tried to persuade you… at least, let Togekiss go…” He suddenly lifts up his face again, “Now it seems it’s impossible to move your decision, you’re still willing to take her down, it seems.”
“Crobat…” His face no longer looks like the Crobat I know… He’s serious now.
“I’m sorry, brother, but I will NOT allow this.” He opened his wings to block, “I know, I’m not strong, but… You’ll have to get through me first if you want to touch her.”
His eyes are filled with bravery now, and his voice became firmer.
“…What’s making you keep protecting her?! She’s a criminal, the one that keeps knocking our bats out, and trying to hunt me down!”
“……” Crobat has no replies.
“Crobat… I really don’t want to take you down too, but if you still standing in my way…” He glared to me.
“I don’t want to mess with you either,” He said, his voice is firmly now, “But I won’t allow you to do this, no matter what.”
“Did your life worth it?!”
“She’s more than my own life now!!” It’s the first time, I heard his shout.
“You can kill me, or punish me with whatever you want…” His eyes are filtering out pressures, “But you’ll never touch her, even if it means I’ll have to get into your way!”
He didn’t look back to me, but I can see the desperate in his eyes.
“…Good…Good. GOOD!! So you decided to be a traitor, betraying the bat clan, right?!”
He stays still there, grinned his teeth.
“Well... I… I don’t need you anyway!! I have no brother from now on!!” He shouted in furious, “Golbats, take them down!!”
