Edit: Changed image to high contrast version
Ever since I started drawing I wanted to do stuff like this - it's a style that really hits me personally and one that I've yearned to replicate for as long as I can remember. And now, I think I can finally say I'm getting the hang of it. Of course - I still need a *lot* of practice, and it would help if I got off my ass and actually studied anatomy and drawing and all that instead of just looking at 50 images and grabbing what I like from each one. But that's just not the way I learn how to do stuff.
Even in high school, I always had a tendency towards learning quickly things that are practical (like most school-level maths, high level programming, etc) and taking longer to, assuming I even do, learn things that are theoretical and don't apply to practice, or do at an abstract level. Basically, I'm better at mental muscle memory than I am at memorizing concepts and ideas not inherent to my creativity, meaning not thought up by myself. And even those I tend to forget!
Anyways, here's more category confusion from me (see last post for context)! You see, I marked this as a German Shepherd, even though it's a mix between a gshep and a wolf, and I call it a Doodle, even though it took almost exactly an hour to do. Now go check out my Discord server before this guy knocks on your door at midnight with an appetite for 'furry'. Also please don't flip this drawing or it'll ruin it.
