For my third presentation for "National Poetry Month 2010", I have drawn a corpulent canid creation of one of the 'newbies' to "Fur Affinity", Hector the Wolf.
'Metal' the husky (a female counterpart to 'Steel' from the animated feature "Balto") was an ideal candidate for my latest limerick - based on the two renderings of her rotund self by Hector. I'd made her body rounder than usual, so that she can perform a basic canine trick with ease... provided it's done downhill on the side of a mountain! Of course, her human owner gets more than what he'd bargained for, when 'Metal' accomplishes her fat... er, feat!

Assuming that 'Metal' lives in the world of "Balto", the husky is in Alaska and not California; so, the 'California roll' reference seems out of place. (Yeah, yeah, I know what the word 'roll' still means.) Now, if you'd said that, as far as eating lots of 'Baked Alaskas' was concerned, she was on a 'roll', then there might be some relevance. Anyway, I thank you for the 'feedback', Kira.
