Here's a simple, elegant and comfortable meal with a lovely side of coulourful veg from the kitchens of ainoko

Decided to prepare a simple meat and potatoes dish for dinner tonight and this was the final result, Pork Chops, fresh mashed potatoes (not the instant variety) and stir fry veggies.

Simple instructions:

Pan fry 2-4 pork chops (pork steaks can work as well) Lightly seasoned with Garlic Powder, Black Pepper and Poultry Seasoning. Cook on medium-low heat until meat is light grey in the middle.

Mashed potatoes - peel 4-6 small to medium russet potatoes, cut into small pieces and place into boiling water, cooking until the potato slice slides off a fork. Drain and mash until at desired thickness. Blend in Garlic, Parsley and Pepper.

Veggies - fir this, I used a stir fry snap pea mix that complimented the meat and potatoes.

Plate and serve.
