The sea of clouds parted in front of their eyes.
"I see him!"
Shouted Li Wei as he pulled at the flying ship's ropes.
"The King has woken!"
A green and teal hue emerged from below as two long tendrils glowed in the off-white. Shortly after, the long muzzle of the King of Mists rose, reaching for the sky, leaping through the air and landing on a nearby peak which looked ridiculously small compared to his body. The captain kept pulling at the ropes, trying not to lose his footing due to the change of pressure in the navigable.
The king looked at the puny mortals, whiskers vibrating, creating the mist they were travelling on from his own scales. Only then the crew realized that the greenery they thought were plants were just the spirals of the ancient dragon's body.
