Looking back at some of my clothing choices when I was younger is … interesting to say the least. Sometimes I wore socks and sandals which I understand is a fashion faux pas. Though apparently they had some sort of fashion trend revival a while back so hey, maybe I was before my time

Well, guess my question got answered and now I really want to see the photos.
People talkig about fashion is always something that is a bit... alien to me, I literally wear the same combination of clothes every day, jeans, leather shoes and my gray winter jacket, yes even when it's like 30°C, call me crazy like everyone does though it just fits me... though I have to say, if I would've the money, I'd walk around in a three-piece suit, I mean, I have the money for it but... it isn't really appropriate for school, is it?

We'll just have to see if they ever see the light of day.
I suppose it depends on your outlook. Some prioritise function and others form, as long as it works for you I don't see any harm in either way.
I'd imagine if you don't have a school uniform it's a little excessive. Though I'll say, at least in the UK school uniforms are rather common and they're very commonly (at least in the older years) some sort of variation on a suit. Some people used to wear a three piece suit in my school back in the day. Though equally in university basically no one wore a suit so your mileage may vary.

Well, it certainly would be a bit of work that, if you haven't planned it already, could throw your plans off, if you want to make those photos, make 'em but if you don't feel like it, well, I don't want to make you go out of your way because of one person asking.
I definitely prioritize functionality, I have one pair of jeans that is 4 years old by now but as long as they're not badly damaged I'll still wear them, why waste the money? We here in Germany do not have any form of school uniform, we're free to wear what we want, tbh though, I'd actually favor a school uniform.

I'll see that in a few years, just two more to go and I can attend a uni, two more years and I'll (most probably) have the highest graduation possible.
