This scribble is from 2015, but it's relevant to how I felt very recently!

I had an unfamiliar kind of pain in my lower abdomen for quite a while. It went from mild to absolutely excruciating in a matter of two weeks. If you ever had renal colic, you know how it feels... It's hard to compare to anything else and it made me want to throw myself off a (very) tall building. Having kidney stones was one of my biggest medical fears and now I know it was well-founded.

Thankfully I've been doing much better in the past few days. There is a chance the stone broke apart and left my system without a trace, but I don't know that yet. The moral is, please take good care of your kidneys ;____; And don't forget to stay hydrated as frequent dehydration was most likely the reason why I got this thing to begin with!
