2016 art, resurrecting an old character design from 2013...
Later art of her makes her appearance a bit more consistent with her sister, Lexi. In all honesty, I had forgotten all about Sasha Snowfox for several years, relegating her to "one-off design I never touch again" status, until stumbling upon that one drawing of her--naming another character "Lexi Snowfox" was entirely coincidental, and making them siblings was something I decided on shortly after I drew this.
But, nobody's here for my ramblings about how I can draw a character, forget about them for years, draw another vaguely similar character with a similar name, rediscover the forgotten character and decide to make them related to the the vaguely similar one I'd been drawing somewhat regularly... they're here for a stout, pudgy fox girl with twin handguns and a jumpsuit.

Oh yeah, I remember you taking quite a liking to her! I don't think I asked back then, so I should ask now, what do you like about her? I haven't done a whole lot with her as a character yet, so knowing what you find interesting about her might help me a bit in deciding where to go with her.
So far, as far as character development goes, she's kind of a hybrid between a spy, a secret agent, a detective and a police officer, and when she's not on assignment and/or abroad, she likes to spend time with her sister Lexi.

You know the thing is looking back I actually do remember giving my thoughts about her as a character, but it's so easy to forget because that's when I still had my old phone that had the imploded battery issue and this weird glitch where ADS would take up the vast majority of the screen instead of just being on the bottom half so my comments would end up being two or three different parts because half the time and add would cut me off before I could even finish.>:(
Anyhow, Sasha reminds me of someone who tries her very hardest to come off as cold, mean-spirited, and just unpleasant to be around.
Possibly because maybe something happened to her that makes her afraid to open up to people anymore. Maybe she lost someone who was very close to her so she tries to be as distant as possible from others because she is afraid of feeling that pain of loss again.
Behind that coy smirk is sadness and loneliness but fear of getting attached to others. In order to cope, she takes up the most dangerous of assignments even though the pay might not be that great at times because all she wants is to have something to block out her thoughts and keep her distracted for as long as possible. Maybe she's been running from something for a very long time but it will take a certain someone to come into her life to change her for the better. Whether that will be a beautiful accident during a mission, or randomly while on her way to a store or something... someone will come into our life that will slowly but surely mend Sasha. Heck, for all we know Sasha could probably just be a code name she gave herself...who knows?

This does seem sort of familiar now that I read it... I don't recall if, at the time of you posting this initially, I had really officially stated that she and Lexi were sisters--later art of Sasha has her with a more blue-grey coloration like Lexi has, it makes her a bit more visually interesting I suppose.
Based on what you have here, and what I sorta have in the back of my mind, I think we can combine these ideas into something...
She probably comes across as cold and serious in an effort to be taken seriously--being shorter and pudgier than some of her comrades and teammates probably makes her appear a bit less professional, less capable, more like she has something to prove. Maybe she's screwed up a mission at some point, or even lost a partner in action, and felt a need to redeem herself ever since.
This would probably play into why she'd take on more dangerous missions as well--she's always feeling a need to prove herself, even if the only one that doubts her abilities is herself. Of course, there's probably also the thrill of the mission and the sense of pride that comes with a job well done that she chases too, but it all ultimately comes down to validation and proving her worth. Any sense of being distant or having something to prove or something to hide from might come down to her own insecurities, her worries that she might let someone down if she lets them get too close.
While I haven't drawn them together, Sasha and Lexi get along very well, although I feel like in some ways, Sasha might either envy Lexi's more traditional good looks, or lack that level of confidence in her own appearance. Whenever I've drawn Sasha in casual settings she seems slightly uneasy, I drew her in underwear once and she looked downright embarrassed to be seen in such a vulnerable state.
Ultimately, what I've managed to weave together from your suggestions and my vague sense of what direction I wanted to take her in is someone who is, in fact, trying to hide from something with their work, except that rather than the fear of loss making her seem distant, it's a fear of inadequacy, a fear of not being good enough. Originally I think "Sasha Snowfox" may have been a codename, only really becoming her canon name because of the introduction of her sister, who shares the surname "Snowfox".
It seems like we took pudgy spy fox and made her a sort of sad character but that gives her room to grow.

I was just taking a in depth guess is all. Sorry if it's way off haha.
As for Lexi, I honestly don't remember that they where actually related. But then again, I had a lot of bad crap going on that year so I probably forgot it woth all the life drama being thrown at me within the time.
(Soo flipping glad that's all in the past now though! ^_^)

No, what you typed out was helpful! I had some vague idea what direction I wanted to take her in, but not much in the way of actual details, so I took your suggestions and blended them with my general direction for her and managed to come up with something that seems interesting.
Thanks for the suggestions!
