Sweetest Candy
Candy, the pretty pink cat that started all of this, here she is looking less of a tomboy and more of a fair maiden. Candy has always kept her hair long because she knows how much her father likes it. It reminds him of her dear departed mother. So, she keeps it long in memory and honor of her. Coral, Candy's mother and Angel, Candy's father, were both models for magazines and other photographic media. She doesn't see it in herself, but Candy could easily follow in her parents' footsteps if she chose and if she could see the natural beauty she possesses. Still, there's nothing wrong with her being a youthful tomboy that would rather get dirty and sporty rather than dainty and pretty.
PS: I know this entry in the series is super late, but I was having a bit of trouble finding the inspiration for her. There's only Plum left to draw, now, although, I feel like I might go back and redo Sugar's as well.

Gosh, she is absolutely gorgeous. I could totally see her modeling fancy summer dresses, or even top tier bathing suits, hee. Even if she would probably rather wear a pair of overalls so she could work on something mechanical, or jeans and a plaid shirt to go into the forest for a bit of lumberjacking *chuckles* And even then, she would still look gorgeous! And you captured her gorgeousness so amazingly well, dear! >^_^<
Well, with six older brothers, fixing things and getting dirty was the name of the game. She always wanted to keep up with them and they were always willing to oblige. She was the last part of their mother that was left in this world. As long as their precious only sister was safe and well, their mother wasn't truly gone. It was hard for them to realize that she, of course, lived in them as well. But, being sons and not daughters, it was not easy to see their mother's reflection in themselves especially when their precious sister looked almost exactly as their mother did.
Thank you! Candy was tough. Even in drawing her in a more feminine way, she resisted. It took a while to get the look right. I hope Plum will be a bit easier. >.<
