I honestly hated this movie. I was promised terror and all I got was boredom and pity for the poor baby. If your son is a hideous mutant, you love him the same.

And that's a shame, because, for me, along with Bergman's Persona and Tarkovsky's The Mirror, it captured a dreamlike mood as few other films have managed to. I love it.
