My new avi cartoon is finished!! It is a voraciously pornographic avi called 'Foxiestyle' with sound including voice acting. It is 98 seconds long, and 24 frames per second. It can be found on my FA user page under commission info: artist's website. At that site, and Xvid encoded version, and a higher quality x264 encoded version can be found.
I'd like to thank Hare Trinity for her awesomely toony voice acting, Psycho_Charmander for his encoding skills, and Dr. Gamez for his server space. Enjoy!

The sound quality seems to fluctuate wildly, you could spot where you got a bit lazy and cut and pasted (his hands stick in my mind for not moving right), and her expression was a little... how to put it... "off" (I would have kept her eyes closed for one) However it's still cool. It's way better then most things here. I hope that this comment is a little more useful then "OMG!!!1 THAT'S HOT!!!111ONE"
I wasn't working on the vid as intensely in the summer as I did in the winter, so Hare Trinity was uploading material to me between weeks, even months, and finally days near the end of the project; not the ideal situation as far as entertainment production is concerned. She reformatted her computer during the months she was voice acting. The sound settings on her microphone changed. I compiled a balance of the hottest and best sounding material, and yeah, it does result in fluctuation of quality. Quality fluctuations aside, I'm grateful that she did such a great job.
Awesome job!
BTW, Psycho_charmander tells unnecessary hard way to watch the x264 version. Easy way: Just get VLC player http://www.videolan.org and enjoy.

I understand that VLC player can play h264 right out of the box. However, I have never really liked VLC player because it just didn't feel like it was complete enough when I tried it. It did not play back some videos even as well as Windows Media Player, which I thought was just unacceptable. I have never had such a problem with ffdshow and Media Player Classic though, so that's what I recommend.
I also never liked how VLC was designed, I didn't feel that it was very user friendly. Maybe they've improved on all of this since I last tried it, but regardless, I don't see what's so hard about my instructions. Download ffdshow, download media player classic. Pretty simple in my opinion. :x
Not to mention that decoding audio and video with ffdshow is far faster than using stand-alone codecs, which to my understanding is what VLC uses (though VLC can also use ffdshow to decode audio and video). Ffdshow also has support for far more video formats than VLC does. So I think that what I recommended on Furgeta's site, while a LITTLE more complicated, is a much more complete solution. Plus, by downloading FFDSHOW, users are able to take advantage of it using ANY DirectShow compatible media player (such as MPC and VLC), so they're not just stuck with VLC if they don't like it.
But again, I don't think what I told people to do was hard at all. Just download and install those two programs and you'll be good to go for a long time to come.

Ok, so I just downloaded and tried VLC again to see if it would play back the video correctly straight out of the box. To my surprise, it does NOT. For some strange reason, it is actually pitching the audio up, so voice actor in the video sounds more like a little girl than a young woman. It seems like a very bizarre error, but I've played back the Xvid version of the video too and it plays just fine.
I encoded the audio in the h.264 video using Nero's (very nice) AAC codec, and I used the L.A.M.E. mp3 codec to encode the audio for the Xvid video. So, for some reason, VLC is having trouble playing AAC audio correctly. Maybe the problem is limited to just this video (even though I did not do anything out of the ordinary when encoding the audio or video, so it should work fine), but the fact remains that it did not play correctly. Therefore, using ffdshow + media player classic IS the best solution for watching this video (and every other video, in my opinion).
I would be interested to find out if anyone else using VLC is experiencing this abnormality with the audio though. If you want to compare, then download the Xvid version of the file and see if the audio sounds any different to you. I'm betting it will, but my luck tells me that it probably won't. :P

I'm going to be working on a massive backlog of furry porn, currently present only in my mind at the moment. 2 more pics for the Kathryn series have been drawn to that end and more are on the way. All of my characters will be drawn in yifftastic delight. And when I'm finished, I'll begin the next project: an interactive sex flash featuring Quinn.
