Prices and TOS Under Construction
I've decided to change a few things for my business. Here are some updates that will be coming up the next time I open commissions:
- There will be a small price increase on all mediums.
- All prices will be changed to CAD ( Canadian Dollars ) instead of USD ( United States Dollars )
* This also effects my On The Spot Illustrations and YCH Auctions.
- Discounts for returning clients.
So what does all this mean?
Well, there will be a price increase for my services. I've recently consulted another practitioner of the arts and she told me that with my years of experience and supply/demand rate, I still shoot myself in the foot for what I charge. So I agree with her that I should increase all my prices a bit, and not just a few spots here and there. I will also be stopping some services that hardly get any demands for, such as web icons.
Prices will be changed to CAD instead of USD. Due to me living in Canada for so long, I thought that it would be best. That means that prices will look higher than usual, however those who live outside of Canada will find that with the current exchange rate, you will most likely be paying the same price as before. Just remember, everything will be in CAD from now on. The same thing for my On The Spot Illustrations.
Discounts for returning clients?! Yes! You know those punch cards you get from Starbucks or alike, where if you buy enough coffee from them, you will get one for free? It will be something like that. More details will follow when the new prices are posted. This will also effect the OTS Illustrations ( example: buy over a certain amount of time and get 20 minutes for free ) Will past clients get a small boost? To be fair with everyone else after these price changes, the answer is no.
How will clients get these cards? After a paid commission is complete, I will send the client with a JPG of their own card, already stamped. The more commissions that client pays for, the more stamps they get until they get themselves a large discount off of their commissions ( or even a free commission ). We will see.
With how things are changing in my business, I will be revising my Terms Of Services as well. No major changes, but the necessary ones, such as payment and prices.
When commissions open again this month with the new prices, I will be more descriptive on what has changed.

i love that this is often the reason to excuse (yes it is, srsly change my mind) to rise the prices. every artist outthere with some knowledge of pricetags know how to handle their experience well if they compare and explore the meanings of "the right price", literally.
THIS doesnt mean here "oh god, here is now a butthurt comment about the prices getting up", no.
But lets say it that way and put me as creator into the room so noone can get hurt but me :P
I draw OVER 15 years, i think this should be a lot of experience, like a lot lot.
Next to this, i create even games and i can sure even create games with peoples characters in them if they want to (actually made that even ones or twice).
I also make music from time to time.
sooo now make now a good price for me please and my stuff im doing and be honest. No im srs here to say, go on and say a good price, i want a honest opinion here and you might see with what im going and try to actually tell/say. Again, be honest, make it happen. I dont smack you in the face or something if you be "that guy" heh.
