Norikazu is the proud owner of Oku-San's Tavern in Goldenrod city, a modest little izakaya known for its Seaking sashimi, Pidgeotto yakitori and especially the fried Octillery. For a set price, you can eat and drink all you like for two hours and have a drink while you peruse the menu. Most domestic Pokemon are welcome, though no matter how well your Tyranitar or Onix is trained, they'll have to be in their Poké Balls.
The menu at Oku-San's is a bit plain looking but gets the job done and has a variety of dishes for people and pokemon alike. Food and drinks are brought to the table as desired and shared with everyone at the table.
Dishes served include:
-Boiled and salted Rindo berry pods(edamame)
-Bite sized pieces of fried Pidgey, Magikarp or Goldeen(kaarage)
-Grilled vegetable, berry or meat skewers(kushiyaki)
-Thin slices of raw Magikarp, Goldeen, Seaking, Chinchou, or Miltank(sashimi)
-Various kinds of udon
-And just as many types of beer, wine, sake and whiskey
Norikazu also teaches cooking classes for kids at the Kogane Community Center on weekends. Though he's very serious and doesn't tolerate any fooling around, he's more than happy to teach children how to prepare simple dishes. Younger children love making Swinub shaped pancakes with sweet berry paste filling and older kids enjoy making teriyaki Pidgey wings. His Octillery Takuo is his companion for these classes, as he's very patient and not bothered by noisy environments or crowds.
Some dishes he's found children to enjoy are:
-Rawst, Belue, Pecha, Wiki or Mago berries in whipped cream between two slices of milk bread(fruit sando)
-Magikarp sushi rolls with pickled ginger and soy sauce
-Noodles in dashi broth topped with Goldeen or Seaking cakes and sweetened fried tofu (Kyukon Udon)
But the thing they seem to love the most are cute and creative bento boxes.
