big claws can be clumsy :P smaller digits can certainly help reach the really precise itchy spots.

Something tells me the claws aren't the clumsy things here lol :P

But I can definitely agree there. Smaller paws can definitely and accurately get into those hard to reach spots, especially the scutes!
