Ruth isn't your generic succubus (and in the Realm Beyond, there are a lot of them). She's commited to one man...though she won't admit her feelings to him.

Ruth was happy with her life, living in a run-down dreary abode with her best friend Peter. She couldn't be happier. However Peter wanted something different. When she heard he wanted to leave, she was hesitant to help him, but in the end she decided she'd rather be with him than alone.

I really don't know if she's a sheep or a flat-faced horse. I'm gonna go with sheep, for now. She might be a horse.
