Half-Life and other related media (C)Valve Corporation

This is a fanfic I made based around the story of Valve's Half-Life 2. It tells the story of Rez, a resident of Sector 12 of City 06; a residential district in what used to be New York.

In this chapter, we are introduced to Rez. He and his two best friends, Danny and Michel, live in the same block, waiting pensively under the Combine's rule. But unbeknown to their totalitarian rulers, these three had been planning a rebellion, waiting to strike until the time was right. But a sudden message sent out from City 17 changes everything.
