Just a happy day for Florel and Dew out in the flower fields together. They're the best of friends and love spending all of their time together. Did I mention they're so adorable? <3

These two are from one of my stories, A Friend Indeed. It's a sickeningly cute and innocent story revolving around these two's friendship and their own curiosities. But that's neither here nor there, because in this picture, they're simply enjoying playing around in the flower fields together.

You see, I had a dream with these two in it the other night, and it was like the cutest thing ever. I heard Dew exclaim, "Florel~!" in her voice. It was perfect heh heh. Unfortunately they were getting chased by a Mightyena, but it was still really cute and I LOVE it when I dream about any of the characters from my stories, because it happens sooooo rarely.

That, coupled with a secret project I've been working on, triggered me to draw some art of these two. I wanted to do a nice one for a change, because they are two of my favorite characters. Originally I was going to forgo the shading and extensive background, just doing it in Flash like the majority of my work. Plus it would mean I'd get +2 drawings towards my goal rather than +1. But ehhhh, I just absolutely had to put the two of them together and REALLY do my best to make this picture look as nice as possible.

I like to pump out a lot of art on Flash as a creative outlet and to practice, but every now and then there's a drawing that I really want to look nice. This is one of them, so hopefully I've done these two justice and this drawing looks really awesome.

Plus it is sort of wallpaper sized. I went ahead and made several wallpaper sizes, without the signature (boohoo) and the "A Friend Indeed" text and they look pretty nice. I made one in 1280x1024 (this size, but minus the text/signature), 1280x800, 1680x1050, and even a 1920x1080 version and I could probably let you use them if you'd like upon request. :3
