This piece was commissioned back when the Riots were in full bloom and Officers were in more danger of being killed or attacked.

That's why I am so glad that Fivers asked me to draw it.
It shows the side that no one ever thinks about. It shows that during a time like this, a Officer may have this happen everyday, telling their family they loves them and that they will be back but he/she ultimately doesn't know if they'll return home or not.

The whole world broken lately and for a fandom that used to be so welcoming, it is rough seeing how it has gotten but I hope it'll turn back around eventually
