Many years ago, when I was a wee lad, I read a comic book. I won't enter into the details, but it featured a rather shady character called "Doctor Von Salfakar". At least that is how I remembered his name.
Years later, when I created a webpersona for a chat box, I used the name, swapping some of the letters around.
A while ago, someone remarked that my name, in French, sounds like "Sale Cafárd" which means "dirty cockroach".
Here now, behold the origin of my name. Apparently I either misremembered or the translator changed the name since it doesn't mean anything in Dutch anyway.

You didn't swap any letters: the comic clearly spells "Salkafar". It's a franco-belgian comic, so the fact that it means "bloody cockroach" in French can't be a coincidence. It's not a pun really, more a funny contrast with the nobility and titles (Herr Doktor Von Bloodycockroach)
