Can relate to this. There's a lot of my stuff I wish was more appreciated/viewed/whatever, but I guess a lot of it is just that much more personal or on the threshold of being unusual, so it may end up meaning less to others than it does to me and therefore not being as interesting to many others.
I think it's important we do make stuff just for ourselves or for our self-fulfilment, in a way, otherwise we're not being true to ourselves.
And being true to ourselves is probably part of why we are artists in the first place. I know it is for me, anyway.
