Finished up my vent art! I am very happy with how this turned out, and it was a lot of fun experimenting. The writing in this piece is from the song Popular Monster by Falling In Reverse. I feel the lyrics represent in words two sides of my mental illness. The characters I chose for this piece also represent two sides of my mental illness.
Lane is a good representation of the part of me that is afraid of being alone but also is afraid to reach out to people for help. Lerk on the other hand is a good representation of the anger I struggle to control, and the destructive behaviors I sometimes exhibit.
