Rodent decided to stop in and say hello to some gold prospectors, but they didn't believe Rodent was there for just a friendly, social visit. So, to protect their mined treasures, they decided it best to just feed the rat to their pet gila monster. :D
I love how this came out. The gila monster is far too rarely seen, and Sneak did a marvelous job with the look of it. I also love how just Rodent's snout and paws are still seen sticking out, as the rest of him is stuffed down the lizard's slimy gullet. :)
My thanks to Sneak for taking this commission and doing such a wonderful job with it.

Mmmmm, nice! Here we have just a glimpse of rodent's bucktoothed whiskered muzzle and his desperate outstretched paws, and from these little details he's instantly identifiable as a scrumptious rat, his expression desperate as he slides down the gila's gullet! If you prospectors have any other rat spies, feel free to toss them to me!
*smiles* I'm sure there are other rats out there for a kitty to snack on.
And I agree completely... Sneak did a marvelous job at making Rodent identifiable, despite only showing his muzzle and paws, as well as capturing the panic and desperation as he slips down the gila monster's gullet. :D
