Nothing to be ashamed of there. It's good to form backstories and character development out of what is familiar to you. My fursona's home setting is in Newcastle, as I grew up there.
I figured Silversheep would be part of a cosmonaut programme. Good to know I was right. Would be interesting to see how fleece behaves in microgravity. Is his steel wool fleece a weight problem, or electrical hazard?
