Well this is quite a bit different huh? Well, for anyone who hasn't noticed, I've started doing RP and if you want to, check out my contacts to chat and RP if you want to. This little story was somewhat created during an extremely cute RP between me and  shrinking_stories on Twitter, and I had a lot of fun with it!

I guess I'd also better explain stuff about my dingus of a fursona. His name is Kajex, a Lucario with unusual fur coloration. He's got three vastly different designs, a modern design, fantasy, and somewhat feral. This short story was written as a little backstory on his size-shifting abilities and when he just started rolling with it rather than keeping it a secret.

No matter which design I go with, his backstory is quite identical, so it's easy to pick which version to go with if I RP. (So for example, I was in my more feral form during RP, but the basics of how his secret was discovered is identical to how it was discovered in modern and fantasy)

Anyways, hope no one minds having a smol Lucario boi typing up stories like these every once in a while. It's cute.

It was like almost any other day for this young Lucario named Kajex. A young Lucario around 19 with a long, black, hooded jacket, purple eyes, dark blue and white fur, greyish-white shirt with a dark grey eye looking insignia on the front, blue jeans, and black, rectangular glasses, has just returned home after his usual day of being... well Kajex, but he realized that he did something he does way too often. He forgot his keys and was locked out.

"Great, juuuuust great," Kajex sighed as he walked up to the door of his home, "I completely forgot my keys inside... again. Can I ever remember those things for once?"

He backs up from the door and takes a deep breath

"Okay," he said as he took a deep breath, "Is anyone around here?"

He frantically checks either side of him to make sure no ones watching this strange Lucario.

"Okay, no one's watching," he sighed with relief, "Plus, no one's made plans for a meet up today if I recall. I should be alright."

He takes a deep breath as he closes his eyes.

"Just one hour," he mumbled to himself, "Just one hour and things will be back to normal like always."

He begins shrinking to a smaller size, clothes and all following suit.

"I just want to keep this ability my little... or uh big secret?" he questions himself, "I guess both can work in this scenario."

However, when he's almost short enough to crawl underneath the door, the ground around him begins to shake like an earthquake, causing him to fall over in a panic.

"A-Ah crap!" he panicked, "Not now! Any time but now!"

He dives towards the bottom of the door and tries crawling through mid-shrink as the footsteps grow louder and a female voice begins to echo.

"I wonder if Kajex is home yet," her voice boomed like an explosion, "I wanted to ask him something." "A-Ah crap!" he panicked, "It's Naomi! I totally forgot she wanted to talk to me today! I'm such an idiot!"

A Mienshao with light purple and white fur, light pink, buttoned down shirt, beige pants, a blue and silver charm around her neck, a dark green ribbon on her right ear, and bright blue eyes notices her tiny friend slide right underneath the door, but doesn't realize it's him.

"Huh?" she asked herself, "What kind of bug does that? Almost like it's a person down there..."

She knocks on the door, but Kajex can't unlock it even if he wanted to, so she's just left standing there for a moment before rummaging around her pockets.

"I guess I'll go ahead and drop his keys off inside," she sighed, "Doubt he'd get mad if I just stopped by to drop off his keys with a note. Had to give them to him anyways. The talk can wait for another day."

Kajex is running for his life as he hears his door unlock in the darkness of his desolate apartment.

"Of course I'd do that!" he squeaked, "Leave it to me to leave my keys at Naomi's before heading home and lock my door when I head out for the day!"

Naomi opens the door and turns on the light, revealing that they're just beside the carpeted living room, furniture kept to the basics like a couch and large TV.

"Kajex?" she asked, "Are you home?"

She steps inside, but almost steps on Kajex unknowingly with a massive THUD.

"She'll kill me without even noticing!" he squeaked, "Th-This isn't good at all!"

She can see Kajex wading through the carpet like branches in a forest in an act of survival.

"What a strange bug," she thought, "Better take care of it before it gives someone a disease or something.

Kajex picks up the pace as he feels her looming hand reach down towards him.

"Why couldn't it have been a bit longer?!" he panicked, "At least until I could've hidden!"

She grabs Kajex in her hand and squeezes him in her fist with all her might.

"I'll go ahead and take care of it," she sighed, "Not gonna be a fan of the cleanup though..."

In that moment, he had to choose either kicking the bucket, or giving away his secret as his body felt like it was a piece of paper being wadded up.

"N-Naomi! Stop!" Kajex cried out in the loudest squeak he could.

He chose to live another day.

"Huh?" she said, "Who said that?" "I-It's me," he squeaked, "K-Kajex... I-I'm kind of in your hand."

She opens her hand to reveal the tiny Lucario coughing over what just transpired.

"Kajex?!" she asked, "Is that you?" "Y-Yeah," he blushed, "One and the same Lucario."

She holds him up to eye level to get a better look, a single blink knocking him off his feet.

"Oh my god," she squealed, "You're so adorable when you're that small!"

He covers his ears in hope of keeping his eardrums intact.

"Yep," he gritted, "Definitely expected a reaction like that from you miss cute magnet."

She realizes just how loud she really is too this microscopic Lucario.

"What happened though?" she whispered, "I mean, why are you small?" "You really want to know?" he sighed, "Please just take a seat and not have me an inch from your face."

She sits down in the living room while gently holding Kajex in her hands.

"I'm listening," she whispered. "Well uh... I've been able to do this since my Riolu days," he blushed, "I never really wanted to talk about it." "Aw, why?" she asked, "It's adorable!" "Th-That's just it," he blushed, "It's cute and it's not really my thing. I only used it to get in my apartment because I didn't have my keys and that is the only reason! Could barely control it when I was a kid!"

She holds him up a little more and begins squinting to get a better look.

"But we're friends!" she smiled, "I can keep a secret, I'm pretty sure everyone else can too!" "Please note that this power works in reverse too," he blushed.

She then tightly hugs him against her extra soft chest.

"Maybe try turning the tables sometime!" she smiled, "I think that'd be cool!"

She holds him higher up.

"Nope!" he blushed, "This is between you and me! No one else!" "I know you don't mean that," she replied, "I know you trust Jade and Rhys as much as me!"

She nuzzles him against her cheek as gently as she can.

"I know that you like this too," she blushed.

Kajex's entire body is warming up.

"M-Maybe just a little..." he blushed. "Nope," she said, "Say what you're really feeling."

He knows he can't really keep up this jerkish exterior anymore, so he just nuzzles back towards Naomi.

"Yeah you're right," he said, "I like this." "Good," she smiled, "Now we'll go tell everyone about this later." "And I don't think I'll be able to handle it," he thought.

She switches back to hugging him.

"We'll do it when you get back to normal," she smiled. "Wait, so are you just going to continue doing this for an hour?" Kajex asked. "I mean, it'd be pretty bad if I lost you," she said, "But I'll gladly continue for an hour if that's what it takes!" "Th-Thanks," he blushed, "I've already nearly died twice in the last five minutes."

The hugs continue be extremely endearing for the both of them.

Later that day...

A knock is heard at the door just past the one hour mark, making them both jump.

"A-Already?!" Kajex blushed. "Would you rather have to wait another hour afterwards?" Naomi countered. "N-No..." Kajex blushed. "Then I'll go ahead and let them in," she replied, "Stay right there."

Naomi opens the door, allowing a Goodra and a Midnight Lycanroc to step inside, the Goodra being a female in a light blue shrirt with a yellow flower on the bottom left of the front, dark blue shorts, black, circular glasses, and a white bracelet on her right wrist, plus jade gren eyes. The Lycanroc being male in a black, slightly torn V-neck T-shirt with a silver skull with a crack in the forehead, a red left eye and a blue right eye, light blue denim shorts torn to pieces, both ears are double pierced with black, stud earrings in all of them, a streak of blue in his head fur, and a chain attached to the right side of his pants.

"What's up Naomi?" the Goodra asked, "Your call seemed urgent." "Well uh... Jade," Naomi started, "I-I kind of-" "Hey, where's Kajex?" the Lycanroc asked. "I'm down here Rhys," sighed Kajex.

The newcomers look down on the table to see the microscopic Kajex flaming red on the table.

"Wh-What happened to you?!" Rhys panicked, "You're like an ant!" "I-I was just about to say!" Jade continued. "Yeah, Kajex has been hiding a little ability of his from us," Naomi blushed, "I found out and forced him to come out with it."

Jade picks up the little Lucario and gets a good look.

"I definitely see why," Rhys remarked, "I know you in particular would have fun with that Naomi."

Kajex's feet are getting stuck in Jade's slime.

"Yeah, I can change my size," Kajex blushed, "But I need an hour of recharge before I can go back. Happy? Can I go back now?"

Rhys plucks him out of Jade's hands.

"Wait, so it's not just small," asked Rhys. "Y-Yeah," Kajex blushed, "I'd rather not do that though." "Aw," Jade replied, "If you did that, then maybe you'd actually be more okay with my hugs." "He liked my hugs," Naomi smiled, "Being all small!"

Kajex is walking towards the edge of Rhys' hand.

"Mind if I get back to normal," Kajex blushed, "My recharge is done."

He tries to jump off, but Rhys catches him.

"Already?" Rhys asked, "But Jade and I just got here." "Trust me, I reeeeally didn't want to tell anyone," Kajex sighed. "But we know now," Jade replied, "And we like it!"

Kajex leaps off Rhys' hand for real this time.

"You know him," Naomi smiled, "Just give him a bit more-"

Kajex accidentally grows a bit too much when he lost focus. His head bonks into the ceiling and he's taking up half the room, his furniture smashing all around the walls and easily making things one nightmare to clean later.

"Well... that's just great," he blushed, "Now I've got to wait another hour."

They all awkwardly look up to him with a faint blush, Rhys realizing something.

"Y-You were the one who pulled me out of that fire!" Rhys realized. Y-Yeah," Kajex replied, "When no one could get you out, I went in and saved you..."

Rhys' red eye glows as the girls also realized something.

"Looks like you got your answer," Jade said half dazed. "I think it's a little more than my answer," he blushed. "Y-Yeah," finished Naomi.

Kajex awkwardly looks to the side.

"I-I mean, I'm stuck like this for a while so... go ahead," he blushed, "I-I can't really change this anyways."

Jade begins hugging his right arm and nuzzling it softly.

"You're so nice and soft," she said, "U-Uh I uh... thanks," he stuttered.

Naomi hugs and cuddles his other arm while Rhys just awkwardly stares.

"I'll admit I liked the small hugs better," she said, "But these aren't bad at all."

Rhys takes a seat on Kajex's leg with a hefty sigh as he looked up at his friend.

"Well, this'll get a lot more interesting," Rhys remarked, "Very interesting..."

Kajex takes a deep breath to get rid of any and all remaining stress.

"Yes, yes it will," Kajex replied with a faint smile, "Definitely."
