He seeks revenge for his wife who died before he came home one day but evidence lead him to believe that it was humans. As well for his torn wings and legs dispute it having noting to do with humans, He attempted to kill himself after the lost of his wife and if failed it just left him injured for life. He was saved and and made a recovery thanks to Reslac actions.
Reslac built his legs but Van refused to have his wings implanted having it of a reminder of they day he was late to come home. of when he had everything.
As the was escalates he starts to lose his humanity just out for revenge. and becomes more cruel and ruthless over time.

Van is there roommate and start off as there best friend that sometimes argue over politics and how to handle situations, Res believing there a peaceful solution to everything.
Tech builder and Mechanic works on implant augmentation and machinery
They get marital from the scrap yard and re purpose it in there work. polishing up garbage into fantastic machinery.
Has a passion for creation that help others but still always dreaming bigger long term project was a airship to fly away from there problems. but as more people need there help the project get cancels for the good and well being and joy of others.
Working on prosthetics that prove to be more complicated then anything they worked on before. As they try to make it more functional.
They also built the motorbike out of scrap parts for zia after she talked about always wanting one and after she save there life and gave a safe space to hide from hunters.
Latter after zia accident they built her arm and wile it not perfect it more advance then what they built for vans leg.
Zia invites them to go out with her when the war starts. they were both caught in the middle. They start off together doing everything they can for both sides aiding people but there was to much damage done to help everyone. Zia come back one day saying they found out about Res past.
They open up about the experimentation they undergone as a child and that they were once human. All mutants were but they were the only teenager to survive. As it only was compatible with infants and children who haven't fully developed. It was a project meant to make supper solders but made monster instead.

They latter face the experimenter (who was being blackmailed back when it happened) but they don't forgive him. they never can. Who try's to amend by searching for a cure..

The war get worse and Res and Van are on opposite view points witch grow into conflict against each other from opposite ends Van doing everything in his power to gain vengeance for wife and broken wings, Wile Res was abused since a child but still refuse to take action against anyone and snooping as low as the people who tortured them.

Tea connoisseur and hobbyist florist
Works at a cafe collects tea and plants at her house and has the cafe is open to all mutants and humans. Witch cause some internal conflict from unsavory types using it as a hideout.
She saves Res from some bounty hunters and bring them back to the caffe.
When she got the gift bike from Res she was exuberant about wanting once since her childhood but never being able to afford it. Latter after driving for a wile she was overconfident in her ability witch lead to a careless a mistake that coast her her arm, She lost control and had a accident where her arm was pined under rubble as the fire drew closer she made the decision to live another day. (In excruciating painful way)

lucky her friend was abbe to create a mechanical arm for her witch took some time to get used to as she loss her dominate hand. but learned to use her other hand though her beautiful hand righting was all but gone she otherwise learn to live with it.

She saved up to thank them with a fancy show, (maybe a musical or opera) Only for the location to be the first strike of the war between mutants and humans. She was caught between with friends on both sides at fist and her mutant friend start on the same both striving for a peaceful options, (the fires of the war also burned down her home so she had to make due with her once nice dress witch was now tatters torn and use to make make shift slings and tie up wounds of others)
but she latter realizes that it may no longer be a option to make a impact.

Garbing what little she had she joined in secret to her friend to defend both kinds equality not being able to pick a side torn with friends and loved ones on both sides. When she uncovers a conspiracy that all the mutants were once human experimented on at birth and tossed aside if not met for military use. (Military brainwashed solders with strength behold that of a human that wont question orders) but it failed, She finds out her friend all this time was one of the few teenager subject that survived the process. As it only worked on infants and children. They had never brought it up on there own but though her discovery open up about the abuses.
Wile searching for ways to combat the war she finds a plot to Gas the hole sector as she combats with Shashan to prevent it.
To add insult to insult to injury she also bust up her new arm during the mission it breaks apart showing all the cords and wires inside when shes separated from Res (though they latter fix it when they get back to home studio)

Meanwhile at the same time her friends are in there own conflict against each other only to see the after math unable to save Van who was to far gone in his madness. Witch broke the heart of her friend who been there for her. she comfort them.

She could almost pass for human with some makeup and some concealing clothing.
Sheshan lost her eyes during a raid where she lost her two best friends and changes her appliance to hid away cutting her hair she grown out for years.
Wile travailing across town stubble's into vans and Res hidden house studio, Van was furious as he thought she was human but latter confine in her as they both talk about the loss in there life.
Wile she start hanging around more Reslac offer to try to make her replacement eyes for the glass marbles makeshift one she loss. (As someone bump into her and though hijinks of it rolling around got shattered)
Wile rudimentary her new eyes gave her some vision (like old cameras)
When the war start she join vans side as she believed in his cause but latter realized that continuing the cycle of war and hate was from the trauma she experience wasn't just and back out.
Instead Joining zia secret Intel mission and the mission to save the sector.

Was one of the scientist blackmailed (they were holding his family at gun point) Into doing the human testing for the supper solder project, and wile at fist he though he could improve on what was there in our genetics but the horrors that came from that where insurmountable. He is responsible for death of children. Blood on his hands he can never wash off spite trying to he always hallucinates that the blood is still there cleaning to the point of bleeding him self.

Who he trys to make amends for latter but he can do noting to get forgiveness.
He try's to amend by searching for a cure but in the end he cant test it without a test subject,
At the end Res zia and sashan have to make the final choice of ether to make this big change for everyone and risk another life.. or to live on with the divide

There a lot of drama and action in the story I wrote when I was much younger and consider making a comic long ago though noting made it past very ruff story boards, It was cathartic to revisit my old charters.

I never did decided on to end it as a tragedy or give them a ending where they reverse the effects as the world start over a new..
