Beautiful job with this, especially the intricacies of the dialogue and working in so many references and their natural slang without making it feel forced, I really enjoy that. Super love that Corbis is the most "normal" character here, and I very much enjoyed Afternoon Sale. All your characters feel very alive, very real, and Yhelm's development has been really beautiful. The way you illustrate culture through both context and direct speech is also a favorite thing of mine that you do, I really envy and admire the way you tackle that so naturally.

i went to college for creative writing and it was all bullshit so instead i just made my assignments focus groups to see how much limited information in a fantasy setting i could give people with them still being able to understand everything through context and i certainly didn't write any good stories in college but i sure did learn a lot about how much you can do through context alone
