I've checked through, you seem to fancy steel string accoustic style guitars, even if they are electric like a gibson is.
I own Nylon Classical, and Jackson X series, and a Fender Squirer that i've modified... which is why i commented on this guitar as it's pickguard went weird just like mine did (natural aging turns yellowish).

yeah i like them personally easy to switch strings when they bust. and there kind of cheap. you can get the Elixir strings that have a coating on them to make the strings last longer... but they last longer no matter what when you just take a soft cloth ya don't want.. and wipe the strings down after use on steel stringed guitars. its the only good thing i learned from the dumb ass collage guitar teacher i was taking lessons from .. but thats the only good thing he taught me. he was a total Asshole. but yeah.
Heh. Well using some guitar polish or dilluted lemon oil also helps or just pure lemon oil but wipe it off immediately as it will eat the string coating great for wood bad for everything else. :P
Guitar polish is alright for the strings though... i think it basically is lemon oil with mineral water or some shit like that.
But something to do with it being dulluted it don't harm the strings or some shit.
I love all my guitars as well. ^_^ Ain't owned one as long as ya though, least doubt it.
Didn't own my own till 2000 i think. Well i think i had one from my uncle who gave me a 30yr old arch top semi-accoustic / electric hollow body rhythm guitar but as i was stubborn and didn't wanna take lessons tried to learn on my own and people i tried to get to teach me, sucked at teaching.... via net... and due to money issues or something we sold it.... >_< that guitar was probably worth quite a bit too.... oh well.
Least i didn't pay for it.....

LOL... Pledge works good. i use it on all my guitars. ... and my keyboard. but only guitar i never paid for was my lotus. the rest i have paid 500 for.. sept for my bass that was 116. but list price was 664. but yeah simple shit.. after 3 teachers i have started teaching my self. cause they have always started me back at where i was. and i told them i already knew it and they never listened to me. *shrugs* i started making my own music a bit but yeah.. lol.
Never used pledge but i have used sword oil followed by a coat of either lemon oil or guitar polish.
^_^
My teacher was lax, i just had him teach me all the techniques i wanted to learn and asked a thounsand questions about tablature + standard notation and now i can read both without their assistance.
