It's good to know that others have the same problem, well, I could now explain our school system to you but that would take a long time, just note that when someone from Germany says "Gymnasium" he or her does mean an educational facility and we also have a teacher, Ms. Rödel who just can't explain anything. I guess that's a common problem, though a whole class taking issue with this is rare like in my case. Luckily there's no math exam for me because I'd rather take exams in English and German (and economics because that's our major). Much easier.

Oh, and yes, I just had one of those "wait, what?" moments because I was actually about to ask something along those lines too xD

I suppose I should consider myself lucky most of my teachers were rather good. A good teacher can really make or break your enthusiasm for a subject.

Indeed. My enthusiasm for anything involving maths is gone now and I have the feeling I'll never recover from that.
