Affairs of Alchemists -- Roleplay / Relationship Demo, version 0.3.3 Release Notes

New Additions:
-Options screen with separate controls for music and voice-over volume.
-New button icons that are larger, and easier both to see and to click.
Major Fixes:
-Corrected an error in affection scores rendering it impossible for Art to dislike the player. Art seems to be generally popular with players, so few people complained- but this made two of the seven endings impossible to achieve.
-Corrected an error that caused affection scores to stack across repeated play-throughs in one session.
Minor Bug Fixes:
-Place-holder art images were showing up in certain scenes and have been removed. As a result, regrettably, characters from Housamo will no longer make an appearance in the game.
-An abandoned working-title was showing up at the end of the game and has been removed.
-Brightness/Saturation was changing on character art depending on who was speaking and with which emotion-image. This has been corrected.
-Various scenes' narration was auto-skipping without a click from the player, making those scenes impossible to read. This has been corrected.
-Various narrations were cut off, losing the ends of sentences. This has been corrected.
-Occasionally characters were displaying incorrect emotions and/or were leaving the scene too soon / too late, including a character remaining onscreen from one particular ending into the next play-through. The characters now have agreed to display proper emotions only, and not to overstay their welcome.
-One line of narration described clothing not depicted in the art. The characters and narration now agree on what to wear.
-Various typos and punctuation errors have been corrected.
Known Issues:
-The dynamic range of music may be too great.
-When the dialogue/narration box disappears, the characters are not placed believably in the background.
-Character lineart is rough and the colors are not shaded. This is the result of our tablet being broken, necessitating importing physical/traditional drawings at lower resolution than we would like for the finished game.
Plans for the future:
-Correct remaining issues, especially getting a new tablet for more polished art, and adjusting character size to not clash with the background.
-Many new characters have been designed. There will be more students as well as professors, the headmaster, staff, and outsiders who will make an appearance in the main game.
-New music tracks have already been created. The music in the main game will feature more varied tracks, music better suited to each scene / mood, and leitmotifs for important characters.
Future updates for this demo:
-None planned, but there may be bug-fixes if new errors are discovered.
What's next for Affairs of Alchemists?
-Next we will be working on the Minigame Demo, testing new game mechanics. We may use that demo to test out new characters as well.
