Yeah, I know it's not "clean" but I specifically drew/coloured it like that. It kinda gives off the illusion that it was a rough sketch of a real pikachu.
One thing I don't like are the eyes for some reason. They just didn't work for me, I think it would have worked better if I didn't put the blue in, but I needed to give him so striking eyes. Hopefully it works for some people

Whether clean or not, I feel the pikachu is actually decent. Though, as you have mentioned, the eyes are a little odd, but the attempt is what matters. Pikachu's eyes are technically black with a brown hue, whereas pichu have the blue hue in them. I like the pikachu either way. It's awesome. And I full viewed, but couldn't see Pika's mouth. It disappeared~? Or maybe he's pouty today..
Yeah, I purposly didn't put the mouth in just to envoke the solomness I was trying to go for, perhaps he lost a companion or something *shrugs* The eyes I was trying to make them pop a little, perhaps a rare-blue eyed pikachu? Or he just evolved and is sad because he's not a pichu anymore, hence his slowly depleting blue eyes
