We're working on more. There's only two of us, and we're at it all the time.

Easy, huh?

If you were to buy fleece at JoAnn's, you are looking at 5 yards at $8/yd = $40
If I earned only $10/hr for cutting and sewing that's $50 (1 hour cutting, 4 hours sewing)
Now add on the zippers, which you can't buy in the store, but lets just say $5. Add on another two for elastic and toggles and we're already up to $87 -- and that doesn't even factor in the overhead costs of running a business. Credit card processing fees, web hosting, ISP, phone, rent, transportation... it all adds up.

So, how do you feel it's ridiculous?

Oh, and I've been sewing for well over 10 years -- running a business for 5 of those -- and I still don't think they're easy to make.

I know this stuff isn't easy, even if the designs are simple, I've sewn things myself and I can't ever get fullsized garments right. [But I can make doll-sized clothing just fine!]

Where are you finding the challenges with full-sized clothes? And the successes with the doll clothes?

Not really sure, since it's been a couple years since I've actually sewn. I've always been better working on smaller scales though[like when I draw or do sculptures]. I'm not sure why

Yeah, I tend to draw small as well. Even when I try to draw bigger it still winds up smaller than it should.

Back in high school it drove my art teachers mad because I refused to 'fill the space on the paper with the object'. I never did though
