In the year and few months I've been in the furry fandom I have come away with one main thing: I LOVE making fursuits. So far I've only tried my hands at partials. My own fursona was my first shot.

This monstrosity was done in February of 2009. I decided to try airbrushing with no prior experience and ended up mangling the markings on my head and two separate tails. The nose is painted Sculpey glued to felt and the eyes are from a bowl I got at a dollar store. I rushed it a bit because I was going to my first fur meet. The feet are freaking hideous. At this point the foam is actually coming through gaps in the fur. I'm probably going to dismantle them and use the shoes for something else.

The hand paws are just white fur. My first pair, the ones on the left, have paw pads made from felt sewn onto the palm, while the ones on the right use some kind of cheap upholstery fabric. And while I'm at it, the head is plastic mesh and foam with a hinged jaw.
