Panel of Snavely alone, with the rocks and the weeds. I'll admit hoping for another easy panel to draw --- sometimes I'm surprised cartoonists ever draw any characters but snakes --- but then I went and put in about as much time trying to get the rocks to look all right. Snavely may look a bit flattened out here, and he looks that way in the original too. It's a subtle thing I didn't capture exactly because it's harder to hatch with my finger than with even my smooshy rubber stylus, but I think it all came out okay after all.

For once, I got his 'chin' about the right proportions.

I see what Ernie Bushmiller was always on about with the three rocks.
