Arthur copyright to Marc Brown
Another drawing of Arthur Read the aardvark (right) and his friends Buster Baxter the rabbit, Alan "The Brain" Powers, and Shelley "Binky" Barnes using urinals like this one https://www.furaffinity.net/view/37.....cid:147954740. The only difference is now I have them following the unwritten rule of leaving a free urinal between them as they pee, hence the title "The Space Between." Other rules include keeping their faces forward and not saying anything to each other.
This wasn't originally what I was going to do but this idea hit me and I forget how, probably some of it from another FurAffinity user, who didn't request this but told me something about leaving a free urinal between the users, and he's right. And so I decided to do this one in addition to my other one and this one should be more appropriate even for children to see (when I say "should" I don't mean my opinion," in fact some of this I learned through these, something called "Social Narrative," https://www.teacherspayteachers.com.....r-boys-463151. The link is safe, otherwise not only would I not leave that link I wouldn't even be on that website! But it's a link that covers the three rules I listed about using a urinal. For a little more info from the same author who goes by the name Jason Wong, see this https://www.teacherspayteachers.com.....rinal-349500.)
Even Binky and Buster are following these rules. Brain definitely doesn't need anyone to tell him the rules, and Arthur, well he's not as smart as Brain but I think we can trust him!
I'm wondering though if I made the urinals too small or too low, especially the one Binky is using, I mean adults are supposed to be using these too. And I was trying to keep the urinals level but maybe I angled them wrong and made them go lower as I went leftward. I started from Arthur and worked my way left to Binky. Either I made the urinals too small or I accidentally, or carelessly, made the urinals lower as I drew the next ones, now I think I should have used a ruler or straight-edge!
So which picture do you like better, this one or my previous (you probably don't wanna publicly answer that one so as not to be judged by others, well if you prefer the other picture to this one. I do ask that you please respect each others opinions about these!)
Again, they did show urinals in two episodes of Arthur but nobody was shown using them, which I guess was a good thing. They should refeature urinals in that cartoon and in other kids cartoons, that is my opinion, I see nothing wrong with it and I would if I was a cartoonist. And one time Arthur himself was shown standing to pee but in his house.
I would have had this picture up sooner but something was wrong with FurAffinity, it wouldn't take the picture, I thought Fur Affinity was malfunctioning and I tried and tried to submit this but it wouldn't submit. I then tried a different Internet Browser and still had the same problem. The I temporarily posted a different picture and that went through. So I decided to rescan this picture (I saw some things that needed to be finished anyway and the picture wasn't ready to be submitted so I guess that worked out!)
I plan to have more artwork like this, including with other Arthur characters. Will also draw grown characters, like their dads, doing this, I don't just want little kids doing this but adult characters too.
Not for sexual or pornographic purposes. You have my permission to use this picture but please do not add anything inappropriate to this or post on porn websites, same with all my other pictures. And no suggestive comments or rude comments please! I will welcome constructive criticism ("Don't make anymore art like this" doesn't count as constructive criticism!) My urinal drawing could be a little better, I'll give you that much, I make them realistic but cartoony as well.
The title: "The Space Between" inspired by the song "The Space Between" by the Dave Matthews Band.

I think the size of the urinals is good. They are well within the usual size range. The do go lower toward the left, but quite usable. I think Buster's and Arthur's are at the perfect height.
In many restrooms I've used, that had multiple urinals, they were usually at the same height, except for one on the end, which was lower, so kids or people with disabilities could more easily use it. My favorites are the really old, pre-1970's urinals that went all the way down to the floor. No matter how small or tall a person was, they were equally usable by all. Those were harder to install though, since they required in-floor plumbing for the drain and in-wall plumbing for the supply water. Almost all modern ones are just attached to a wall.
