По-моему, у Вас очень красивые ючи... Но конкретно такого типа расслабляющие темы с водичкой, лотосами, пышной растительностью и мягким солнечным свечением персонально мне в самое кокоро... Очень жалко, что не могу поучаствовать в аукционе в данный момент, поэтому пожелаю Вам автобайных ставок, этот скетч заслуживает АБ :)
I do this all the time, there's nothing wrong with it. I have a cast of characters I want to see an an ensemble picture I enjoy the composition of, and I want them together in a way they would be and a stranger would not be involved in. Some people save up for just the opportunity to see their creations all together in a happy scene.
If anything, this artist is undercharging for the quality of their work...it's excellent! Do you understand how much work is involved in the sketching, lining, coloring and shading of a piece this complex? Days of work. Break it down by hour and it's usually somewhere around minimum wage.
I'd rather artists charge MORE.
Finally, the basic truth. If you absolutely want a slot in a pic, AB it. If it means that much to you, AB it right off.

Not everyone can afford to AB, if anything AB is a last resort option if bids get too heated that's why no one just ABs just like that. It's not that they don't want to support the artist and their full potential but everyone who wants to support is just left in the dark when stuff like this happens
Have an art budget, then. Put small amounts in a PayPal account for art and be prepared to jump on a piece that you really want. Artists do need to make a living with their art.

If my comment is hurtful there is a problem. I only stated a fact, if you wanna AB cool just choose a spot, but the whole pic though and just blow everyone out like they didn't need to be in it too? It's not about having a budget on a luxury item but how do you think everyone who wanted to be in it feels when they can't because someone dive bomb the whole pic. I don't think you and your millions of dollars understands that. It's a beautiful thing when someone ABs a YCH if it's one out of multiple slots but it's heartbreaking when it's the whole thing. It's not like the artist doesn't deserve it because they do but it makes a for everyone auction suddenly a giant commission. But that's some how ok to you I guess

Correct! No one needs to be in it, that's the point. No one is entitled to a slot. I promise you anyone that is upset they missed the opportunity to have their character in a ych piece will be just fine. If someone can't afford it, that is absolutely not the person who could's fault.
