In Battlefield: Bad Company 2, I'm a medic. It's a class I've been playing since 2142, and it suits me well. I enjoy supporting my team, not taking the lead, and I earn tons of points for healing and reviving my teammates, sometimes 2 to 3 times as much for killing an enemy.
But don't think I'm defenseless, or I don't have a pair on me. I love my 12 gauge pump action 870 shotgun and I will fuck you up if you get close to my team.
This literally took days of work to complete. I am so proud of this, and please, leave a comment for support.

Thanks! I agree. Recon is good for spotting and mortar strikes, but to just sit on a ridge and shoot people is completely counter to the point of capping flags and working as a team. There should be a cap on recons, but there are dozens of little problems I have with the game (the horn) I won't bother to go into them. =P
2142 is arguably the best BF to date, in my opinion. BC2 is great, though - as long as there's people to play with.
But seriously, it's all about the Support class in 2142. ;3

I actually started playing 2142 far behind my boyfriend and his at-the-time roommate, so much so that I didn't have very good shooting or combat skills or gear, so I was happy to just stay behind them and do the healing and revives. Eventually I found that I was having much more fun helping and occasionally being defense than straight up attacking, and I was making mad points for it too. I think B.F. rewards "First do no harm."

I'm not sure where I originally picked up "Born to Die." I think it was from the Gorillaz at some point in some the art. It's of course a play on the classic "Born to Kill" helmet from FMJ, but I like "die" more. People are rarely born to kill, but we're all born just to die.
im playing mechanic since bf1942 i got 9 gold stars with prg-7 in bad company :D i even had 17kills and 100% accuracy with it on 1 mission xD

i play as medic aswell much more my style but i play with the support guns rather than the shotguns - i think my big gun might give yours a run for its money!
