The wings here are absolutely amazing! I have to get you to teach me how to do this!!! They look so real!

The colors? <3 its just copic <3 they layer beautifully! Its kinda like working with watercolors <3

Omg, really?! I use copics but I could never get that kind of effect. Though, I just started with them but... That's amazing!!

A lot of times you find different effects with different papers I've found <3 some make it easier or harder to layer the same marker into a darker color <3 This was actually fairly cheep card stock so it ate a LOT of ink but at the same time it paled out some of my darker skin tones (since my best light ones have run dry) and made it easier for me to layer the same colors and differnt colors to blend them for wings <3

What colors would you suggest I use for a sunset? I just got a commission for a sunset BG and grass swaying in the wind. I'm set on the grass, but I'd like some pointers for the sunset. I'm gonna go to Hobby Lobby to get some new Copics and if I know them, I can pick up the right ones! ^^

Oh man, I fear I have only one of the basic sets? (B I think?) so I wish I could give you names and colors but I really can't. I'd take a picture of a sunset with you that you like a lot and see if you can get at least the main colors in copics and look to see if they will blend well? ((I own two blender markers and keep them clean as I can cause I blend so much))

ferk....I don't have a lot I'd consider sunsetty (go go mostly earthy tones!)

Just two different copics <3 I laid down the lighter first, re-went over it for a mid tone and then added my darker one for the most contrast <3
