I think my favorite instance was at the end of 1980's "Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24th 1/2th Century", aired as part of Chuck Jones's "Daffy Duck's Thanks-For-Giving Special". After Marvin explains to us how we'll have a few days to prepare before his missile blows up the Earth, the cartoon ends with Marvin poking out of the "That's all, Folks!" bullseye to say, "Don't worry, folks. After all, it's only a cartoon." to which his visors slams down over his eyes and it fades out.

Where's the Earth shattering Ka Boom?!?! There was supposed to be an Earth shattering Ka Boom!.... This makes me very angry! *heavy breathing*

I think this is how Marvin sleeps at night.

Weird coinkydink. I woke up this morning with a vision in my head of that Tunnel scene from "Bugs Bunny Rides Again" and so when I saw this image, I couldn't help but laugh out loud. I know, I know. But Marvin was close enough for the spur of the moment.
