A little gift for my fiancee, NobleTanu of their PKMN Trainer & Team.
I've been having a blast drawing these pokemon scenes and it feels very peaceful. I think I found my prefer method of drawing backgrounds!
Anywho, this is NobleTanu 's character, Emanuel Hawthorne at the beach with his pokemon. One of the few trainers in our Pokemon D&D Campaign.
Emanuel started off as a researcher. He loves to study pokemon and draw them. Over time with our adventures, he became an aura user as well as becoming a strong trainer as well.
His first partner is Flint, the Incineroar. Flint is very protective of Emanuel, but at the same time is kind of a little toot. At least the way I see it haha! Then there is Xaiver, his Cubone which absolutely loves apple juice. When Boston listens to Emanuel's pokemon talk, Cubone usually refers to Emanuel as 'Mama'. The Lucario's name is Rye. He was adopted by Emanuel at a pokemon nursery after having lost his parents to the evil bad guys of our world. He usually helps Emanuel train in his aura abilities. Caspian, the Gallade, acts like a knight and wants to make sure Emanuel is protected at all costs. He chose to be with him so he could grow up and be strong to protect those he loved. Void is the Darkrai. Void has been with Emanuel for quiet some time and almost has a 'butler' like aspect to him. He's super polite and highly respects Emanuel. The newest addition to the party is the Milotic, Lamia. Lamia was originally a feebas that Emanuel bought from a pokemon fish catcher who had loads of Magikarp, but had this lucky find. He took care of her until she felt like she was beautiful enough to come out of her skin.
I drew this scene as a way to show the past, but also the hopeful future. Our characters haven't really had time to relax like they use to due to thier world being very close to ending. They usually have enemies every corner they turn and never really relaxed since. I remember once visiting a beach where our characters actually relaxed for a bit and didn't care for the world for a small time. It was nice and hopefully they will be able to rest after all this.
