Big wide maws can swallow a lot of prey at the same time.

Heck, Venusaur is such a good pred, especially when taking into account its vines and how strong they are, good enough for them to stand somewhere and let the vines do most of the work in catching prey! >w>

I would absolutely see Venusaur eating people because he is froggy and they absolutely eat anything that fits. Being bigger than human sized prey in height (even with the flower taking up a decent chunk of that height) even on all fours means yeah, most of us would absolutely fit. It would be a tight squeeze but it would be a fit nonetheless. And if I'm going in I'm generally not making it out alive~
