A minute later and Sonic was already running with incredible speed across the whole neighborhood. Sunny days like these always put the blue blur in a joyfully energetic mood, but today the weather wouldn't be the essential main factor to determine his state of mind. Instead, it was his new pet rival shrunken and trapped inside his shoe that grew a wide smile on the hedgehog's face. This alone inspired the speedy hero to run especially long today, making sure that Robotnik would have a very unpleasant experience in his shoe. And while at it, why not run a bit faster than usual? It's not like the tiny prisoner could stop him or anything. The day was still young, offering a lot of locations to visit before nightfall. And with each location, Sonic would make sure to adapt his footfalls accordingly to the terrain. Whether he was running up a hill, blasting through snow, rushing across sand, the excited hedgehog would always apply additional pressure on his feet. It got to the point where he could practically feel his enemy's bug-sized pathetic body no matter where he ended up inside the shoe. Occasionally Sonic would scrunch his toes together every time he felt his presence underneath them. And despite the size difference, the blue bully picked up some very faint screams from below which only amused him more as he would chuckle at Robotnik's misery.
