These are tiny little antelope called Klipspringers. They're found in the Congo and are the only known antelope to mate for life. The natives hunt these creatures as a food source and unfortunately have been subjected to overhunting. The thing I love about this picture is not the fact that I managed to get a shot of both of them looking in my direction but the fact that they look really evil. I'm not kidding. The female is in the back and if you can see it, her eyes got the old red-eye treatment from the camera and the male, in the foreground, looks devoid of eyes, really, but his markings make it look really sinister! Oh, and the one thing that punctuated this whole scene is that a little kid almost got pooped on by a bird that was perching up on the lights overhead, LOL!
