I foresee a perpetual cycle. Riilu stuffs himself to the limit, his body absorbs all that food and turns it into an equal volume of added elastic material--added elasticity, you could say. That increases his eating capacity, which allows him to add even more elasticity, which lets him eat more, and so on. He'd be like the grey goo of rubber.
