Whoo!!! 'Bout time to finally get this done. Man, there were three or four initial drawings of this thing, then decided to do Petal in colored pencils. Then I wanted to combine a back color of marker with shading and detail in colored pencil for the background--experimented with that on ABO pages 8 and 9, actually. In the end, I used one of the grass brushes in Photoshop to finish the details off in the grass.

Anyway, I like how this came out--I reeeeally love how Petal came out, I ended up drawing her from a photo I took of Jessica modeling the pose she wanted, and man, that made a metric shit-ton of difference. Heh, but since I liked how she turned out so much, it made me reluctant to do stuff with the background, cuz I didn't want to fuck up. Still, this was fun to do, and again, I'm really happy with this.
