I find ruins quite lovely. Probably because plants usually grow over ruins as a sign of mother nature taking the space back from man.

You should do a real professional art book of your photos. Seriously, I mean a formally published work. I think it would be a sensation!

Ah, I hadn't noticed that. The picture doesn't really do it justice though, I'm sure.

I had the distinct honor of having an apartment in what I believe to have been a ballroom or banquet hall of a building from the 1850's. I could almost hear the music, smell the food, and see the people dancing. Even that pales in comparison with having actually seen it in its glory, though.

Unfortunate that it was abandoned. Sitting unmaintained is the worst for building. Nice shot.
