Flush with success after recuriting a brand new raptor to the club, and adding a new statue as well. Kyrio and the other raptors of the Raptor Den Club are celebrating to their new member and success.
However, they don't know one of Elliots friends is planning a rescue attempt. Will this little group be able to succeed in turning Eli back to Elliot, or will they be joining the club as property, just like Decro the wolf sculpture?
And here we have part two. A little gift story for
Kyrio as well as adding
clow to our wonderful world as well. Here we are eally introducing Kyrio, his club workers, and the club to the LA universe. This was a huge blast to write, and I was shocked by how long it came out to. Coming out at almost 16k, this is one of my longest submissions I've ever put out here.
As always, I would 'love' to hear from all of you. These last few stories, your comments and all of the favorites have made my day and it's one of the things that have spurred me on to post more and more up on here.
Also, I own none of the music or lyrics featured in this story. I borrowed everything from some music that I really love and thought fit well here. If you want to hear the song itself, leave a comment and I can leave a link in the comments down below.

I mean good as always man, you know I love them mental effects as they seep in. Nice little ocean 11s scene outside, that I was happy to be apart of, like really, you squeezed me in so quick, I expected, like MAYBE two stories from now : p. and Eli is just so cute, like I said in the art, I really just like the concept, so neat with all the identity shifting. And of course, I think you capture Kyrio well, and me too! Made my ears ring back to my folks telling me I didn't know when to shut up... Pissing off the raptors was an "Aw Beans" moment, and the fight scene was great, but I didn't stand a chance, if I turned Russ into stuff, Kyrio would have SLAMMED me down, for sure : p.
Course I can't help but focus on the tools, I have to say they were pretty killer. A "Now you're thinking with Portals" I'm gonna assume... ring? an Earthbender/Full Metal Alchemist Belt Buckle, Bleach shoes (I mean.. it's WEIRD they have a power that lets them just stand on air, but I guess it is more unique than flying) A straight of "Bracelet of Fog Cloud" (I mean that's not "A thing", but that is pretty much the D&D spell for sure) and a Bumi Crystal earing (took me a while to recall that creeping crystal, I wonder if it's also Gemanite, and made of rock candy : P ) Really, a great little setup, I'm not surprised you came up with such a cool fitting loadout, but you did my concept proud for SURE!

"Kyrio... if you're as powerful as everyone says you are... and you really want to revive your species... just offer the chance to become part of your pack to every prey that sets foot in the city, your kind's numbers would explode, and your rivals would be denied the endless stream of victims. And your kind would be resurrected."
(AGAIN! I am saying this to the character! Not the owner of the character! This has been a very interesting and captivating story from beginning to end!)
Nobody invaded their home and got away with it.
I imagine the response would be, "And no one takes someone I care for and gets away with it."
I've never seen the 'leave behind a beautiful corpse' used to such disturbing effect outside of this setting.
I figured that Timmy sent in the others as bait.
"We'd have become one, "
Become one as an actually becoming one awareness, or 'become one' as in the way a sandwich 'becomes one' with you?
No, they didn't 'choose' to be objects.
There's also the fact they can't be happy if they have no consciousness.
Eli being given the most terrifying thing in this city of monsters... a conscience.
Fur after fur waking after days, weeks, or for some, even months as nothing but objects.
"If you'd made them part of your pack, you wouldn't be losing them."
That's the thing about self-sacrifice... your life isn't just yours after all.
Credit where it's due, you always manage to keep things tense even with these power levels being thrown about, that is NOT easy, CONGRATS!

I Really love this kind of story, and I love how Kyrio is portrayed in this.
I feel like Kyrio's biggest flaw here is, that he cares too much about the people around him, so he turns them into his raptors, his family, and controls them a bit to make sure they are happy. And also, he cares about his items deeply and makes sure they are happy, whether they want it, or not.
In the end, everyone is in fact happy about their new lives, but they didn't choose it for themselves and that is the biggest issue here.
So, if I were to build the Raptor's Den, I would make it in 3 layers:
The outermost layer is the public club, where everyone is welcome, but required to temporarily transform into dinos during their stay. They might also try out becoming statues or items temporarily if they want to, without loosing themselves. And everyone can leave whenever they want. This place is to encourage willingness.
The middle layer would be for "long term residents". So VIP guests that agreed to be a club member(aka Raptor) or club property for a longer time (several months/years/decades). It is still temporary and willing, and the people will keep most of themselves, unless they throw it away on their own accord.
The innermost layer would only be for the true family. So everyone who agreed to become a permanent family member of their own accord, or who are very close friends to the owner, as well as anyone who agreed to become a permanent possession of the family will be there, unless they are better suited somewhere else. Here their minds will be "fixed" so they can truly belong to the family and this is the true Raptor's Den.
Of course every member of an inner layer can still go to the outer layers (or be brought there if needed). And those rules don't apply to criminals who want to harm the members.
But ultimately that decision is not for me to make. I just felt the need to share it.

Funny thing here, Me and Kyrio have been talking, and the Raptor Den is going to be changing a bit. Actually. Much more willing, were tf and such do not happen unless one breaks the rules. (And for non dino’s, only staying dino’s while “in” the club). All of these events are going to have big consequences come next story when we go back again.....
As a certain cursed collar was left behind. And is about to start causing a bit of playful “fun” with everyone.
