I used one uncut 23cm square of tissue foil

This was again a very fun model to fold ! After folding its bigger brother, Blakiston's Fish Owl, I had to fold that one as well (not at all because I needed a break from shaping scales). It's the second time I fold this model and I won't post the first attempt I've folded about a year ago because it's that bad.

I decided to sacrifice the flap on the back so I could make a real beak which worked well despite the head being much thicker. 23cm tissue foil worked really well for me, I'd recommend using a bigger square if you don't want to struggle with the talons.
