Ooooof life got so busy I haven't had a lot of time for drawing but I just got back to it. Trying something new again, wanted to work with anatomy as always, but stayed gray scale (haha scales ^vv^) so I can think more about lighting instead of finding the right colors. The anatomy is taking small baby steps in the right direction. I also found a couple things I need to work on: Starting with more refined and detailed sketches then adding depth with colors but not above 50% brightness (I think). That way instead of looking like a super blown out over-exposed image, there are normal colors and shades... Food for thought for my next piece!

I really do want to try something more chibi-esque - comic -style. I think all the shading is throwing my brain around for a whirl...
