This is a very beautiful and emotional piece. The song that came to mind when I saw this was "Hard Luck Story" by Men at Work. The lyrics, "If I had real power then I would disappear," really matched the feeling of trying to push the day away and hide from anything more.

I am sorry that you had such a bad day, but at least it inspired you to make art that speaks to so many so well.
