Skin-rip transformations are a kind that we need to see more often. (I also like to call them "chest-burster" transformations because of the similar concept. )
In a way, it kind of makes sense: You were basically injected with something, and since viruses aren't able to actually change your DNA: what if there's something growing inside you that is consuming you, taking on your consciousness as its own, until - RRRIIIPPP! - the human facade holding you back is torn away, revealing the creature within? Truly an underrated concept that needs to be explored beyond just the Alien movies.
Not gonna lie, I've actually had fantasies of such a transformation happening to myself, but it doesn't seem like it's in the cards for me. It's just as well, really - there would be a heck of a mess to clean up afterward.
Definitely a fav from me.
